Maison Martin Margiela
Martin Margiela founded his label, Maison Margiela in 1988 and quickly established himself as a pioneer in Belgian fashion and avant-garde, constantly pushing the boundaries between art and style. Martin never appeared on the runway after his collections showed and he famously never gave interviews either, choosing instead to let his work speak for itself. Today Creative Director John Galliano continues to honor this tradition. Combining intellect with creativity, Maison Margiela offers thoughtful, deconstructed clothing with a strong minimalist aesthetic.
