The Hermès Kelly was named after Grace Kelly. Unlike other handbags, a single craftsman works on one bag at a time with the construction of each Kelly bag consuming a whopping 18 hours. The Kelly Retourne also refered to as 'souple' has a more relaxed shape than the Kelly Sellier which has a more boxy, structured look. During the manufacturing process the bag is turned inside out. The result is a softer look with rounded edges and stiches on the inside. This 35cm Kelly Retourne is constructed of gorgeous box calf leather, known to last for generations with proper care and conditioning. This Kelly bag has 24K gold plated hardware and comes with a removable leather shoulder strap.
