For his Spring/Summer 2012 Ready-To-Wear Collection Dries Van Noten collaged prints from seventeenth-century botanical etchings, jungle scenes, and seascapes onto decorous couture shapes, which he rendered in fabrics that were resolutely ready-to-wear. The print of this cropped jacket was shown on the 2012 runway in a variety of color combinations.
