Absolutely exquisite vintage 1960s cocktail dress. The dress has a pretty heart shaped bodice, a giant bow at the waist and a cascading taffeta high-low skirt. The bodice is lace over taffeta and is covered with beautiful black sequins and beading. The skirt has 3 layers of built-in ruffle tulle. The outer taffeta layer is doubled and has built-in tulle for added fullness. The dress closes with a back zipper. We acquired this dress from a woman with an exceptional taste, who had the most beautiful 1960s and 1970s dresses. The label reads LOP. LOP is a label that is no longer in business and you can't find any information about them on the web, but the quality of this gown is exceptional. The care instructions are in German so we assume the dress was made in Germany.
